Myrtle Beach Destinations was founded for owners, by owners. Recognizing the ever-evolving landscape of the vacation rental market, the company was established to meet the demand for adaptable and up-to-date management practices in the vacation rental industry. With a commitment to maintaining high standards, Myrtle Beach Destinations ensures that every property under their care is meticulously maintained and enhanced to meet modern expectations. MEET OUR TEAM
Owner
Steven is an Air Force veteran who has always had a passion for real-estate. After purchasing his family's first vacation rental, he quickly realized the importance for a quality property management option. After self-managing for years, he decided to transition out of Active Duty to create Myrtle Beach Destinations. His goal is to offer the 5-star quality management service that owners deserve.
General Manager
Josh is an Air Force Veteran, and our General Manager. A seasoned Operations Manager and residential home-flipper, Josh was excited to merge his passion for real estate and operational excellence with his love of delivering top-notch service to his clients. An alumnus of the University of Kentucky and University of Miami’s Herbert Business School, Josh also brings an unquenchable thirst for learning and continuous development. Josh loves to meet new people and forge lasting relationships; as a result, you’ll routinely see him at community events in the area.
Operations Manager
Austin is an Army veteran and one of our operations managers and hospitality experts. On his most recent tour of Army Active Duty, he was a member of the 82nd Airborne and one of the last US military members to leave Afghanistan during the US withdraw. After becoming a decorated combat veteran, he decided to take a break from Active Duty and now spends his free time enjoying the beach, working on getting his degree, and is still a member of the Army National Guard.
Operations Manager
Clayton was born and raised in beautiful Myrtle Beach and is one of our operations managers and hospitality experts. Clayton attended Middlebury College in Vermont where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and returned to Myrtle Beach after college. As a local to the area, Clayton is honored to play a crucial role in ensuring 100% of our guests have a memorable stay in the area.
Guest Communications Specialist
Jess is an experienced Guest Communication Specialist with a passion for providing exceptional service. She graduated with a degree in Psychology, which has provided her with a solid foundation in understanding human behavior and communication. Over the past five years, Jess has been deeply immersed in the world of customer service, with a significant portion of that time spent working with Airbnb. For the past three years, Jess has had the privilege of working as an Airbnb Support Ambassador. Interacting with guests and hosts from around the world has honed her ability to navigate a wide range of situations and cultural contexts. In addition to her professional journey, Jess is also a full-time mom, balancing her career with her dedication to her family. Her commitment to excellence and her ability to connect with guests make her an invaluable asset to the team.
Guest Communications Specialist
Jeff is one of our dedicated Guest Communications Specialists specializing in system automation and process improvement. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team with a strong background in Information Technology and extensive experience as a seasoned Airbnb support employee. His approach ensures seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences. Beyond his professional skills, Jeff enjoys practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu in his free time, reflecting his discipline and commitment. He is passionate about building genuine connections with guests, making every interaction memorable, and ensuring guests feel valued and cared for. Jeff is dedicated to enhancing your stay and is always ready to assist with any needs, ensuring a high-quality vacation experience.
Guest Communications Specialist
Ahjay is an experienced Guest Communication Specialist with a unique blend of skills and perspectives, shaped by his diverse educational background and extensive work experience. His higher education included two years of studying dedicated to Hotel and Restaurant Administration.
Ahjay has over nine years of experience in the hospitality industry, including three years with Airbnb, where he honed his skills in customer service and hospitality operations. Since 2020, he has been working in property management, specializing in guest communications. His expertise enables him to effectively manage various property-related tasks and ensure smooth operations for his clients. Ahjay's commitment to excellence and ability to connect with guests make him an invaluable asset to the team.
